伦敦大学皇家音乐学院（Royal Academy of Music）, 简称RAM ，是伦敦大学的加盟学院之一，于1822年由伯格斯（Burghersh）勋爵在伦敦创立。八年之后，伦敦大学皇家音乐学院由英王乔治四世授予皇家宪章，并于1911年迁址至伦敦市区马里波恩附近的一栋专属的大楼里。 伦敦大学皇家音乐学院和英国皇家音乐学院为不同院校，Royal College of Music（RCM）是英国皇家音乐学院，而Royal Academy of Music（RAM）才是伦敦大学皇家音乐学院。由于伦敦大学皇家音乐学院的特殊专业院校性质，在许多世界大学综合排名中并无上榜，但在专业排名方面，伦敦大学皇家音乐学院在2020QS世界大学排名表演艺术学科中位列全球第四。

Vocal声乐

本科：

You should prepare three items in contrasting styles and moods, one of which must demonstrate vocal agility. One item should include a recitative if possible. One item must be sung in a language foreign to you. You may be required to sing only two of the prepared works.

If you are auditioning for the Bachelor of Music or Gap Year programme you will be required to take a 50-minute written assessment including harmonisation of a melody and a short essay question of a general musical nature.  You will be permitted to use a printed dictionary. Sorry, we cannot issue specimen papers.
You may also be asked to take some aural skills tests, consisting of a sight-singing test and some of the following:
- singing the middle notes in a chord
- identification of intervals
- sight reading of rhythms
- sight reading of two simultaneous different rhythms, to be sung and clapped.

研究生：

For your Postgraduate Vocal Studies audition you should prepare an operatic aria, an oratorio aria and two contrasting works of your own choice from the song repertoire. One item must be sung in English or English translation.

只有研究生：

You should prepare four contrasting operatic arias in a variety of languages, one of which must be sung in English or English translation.

The opera auditions take place in two separate live rounds, an audition and a recall. Candidates who are successful at their first round audition will be invited to sing again at the recall session, this is planned to be held on 14 December.
The repertoire for your recall will be chosen from the arias you prepared for the first round audition, and will probably include an item which you did not perform at that audition. 
We regret we cannot consider video applications for Opera.

Music Theatre音乐剧

只有研究生：

1、Three songs demonstrating different voice qualities.

2、One contemporary naturalistic speech or monologue (no more than

two minutes). Please avoid poetical style, e.g. Stephen Berkoff or Samuel Beckett

3、Discussion with panel (at audition) OR short explanation of motivation to join the Programme (video)

Improvisation and text sight-reading may be included as part of your audition, and an accompanist is provided
