英国北方皇家音乐学院（Royal Northern College of Music，简称RNCM）是一所世界知名的音乐学院，坐落在英国曼彻斯特市中心。英国皇家音乐学院联合委员会ABRSM（英国皇家音乐研究院RAM，伦敦皇家音乐学院RCM, 英国皇家北方音乐学院RNCM，苏格兰皇家音乐学院RCS）成员之一。多年来，RNCM都是英国以及世界各地艺术家首选的音乐学府。

Jenn Clempner

歌手、钢琴家、音乐剧和唱诗班音乐总监、独立声乐导师及音乐讲师。

Jenn在伦敦做过多年音乐人，并在2008年与独立唱片公司 Beatroute Records合作。随后她回到了家乡，开始独立工作，成为一名声乐导师。2011年至2015年，她是一所表演学校的常驻音乐和声乐导师。

2014年8月，她创办了The Jenn Clempner School of Singing，这是她自己的歌唱训练和指导机构。

作为一名音乐专业人士，Jenn也是音乐咨询顾问并持续参加演出。

Round 1 (morning): Maximum 15 minutes with up to 15 minutes warm up time

Performance – candidates are required to perform 1 piece of their own choosing preferably to a MP3 backing track (provided by the candidate)

Musicianship test – the panel will test technical skills based on those demonstrated in the performance

Note: Candidates should not perform graded examination pieces

Candidates chosen to play in round 2 will be notified at lunchtime. Candidates are advised that auditions are highly competitive and that, on average, only half of the candidates heard in the morning will be selected for round 2.

Round 2 (afternoon): Maximum 20 minutes with up to 20 minutes warm up time

Interview – the panel will assess the suitability of candidates through the following:

Clear understanding for choosing this programme

Ability to self-reflect and articulate own strengths and areas for development

Understanding of the popular music industry and employment potential within it

Confident, articulate, intelligent responses

MMus Popular Music applicants (all instruments/vocals) should prepare 3 contrasting pieces/songs that demonstrate a range of technical and musical challenges appropriate to postgraduate-level study.

The audition will be followed by a 30 minute interview

International applicants should submit a recording online via Acceptd with 3 contrasting pieces/songs that demonstrate a range of technical and musical challenges appropriate to postgraduate-level study. Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by Skype.
